Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2025
ARKstamp is built on a single promise: your data is yours. We built this product for people navigating complex, often deeply personal life moments. That context demands a privacy-first foundation.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your email address, used only for authentication and account recovery
- Your display name if you sign in with Google
- The chapters, cards, notes, and documents you create within ARKstamp
We do not collect payment information directly. Any Stripe payment data is handled entirely by Stripe under their own privacy policy and security standards.
How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to deliver the ARKstamp service to you. Specifically:
- Your chapters and cards are stored in Firebase Firestore to sync across your devices
- Content you submit for AI-powered analysis is sent to our secure Cloud Function proxy, processed, and returned to you. We do not retain this content for training purposes
- We use Firebase Authentication to manage your account securely
What we never do
- We never sell your personal data to third parties
- We never use your content to train AI models
- We never share your information with advertisers
- We never build behavioral profiles for advertising purposes
Data security
All data transmitted between your device and ARKstamp is encrypted in transit using TLS. Data stored in Firebase Firestore is encrypted at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.
Data retention
Your data remains in your account for as long as you maintain an active account. Deleted items are moved to trash and permanently removed after 30 days. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Cookies
ARKstamp uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services
ARKstamp uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and hosting
- Stripe — payment processing (when applicable)
- Anthropic — AI-powered chapter analysis via API
Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and security standards.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about this policy, contact us at privacy@arkstamp.com.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via the email address on your account before the changes take effect.
